3rd Place Finish at Triple Crown 18U Nationals

Mustangs Rene had a great showing at Triple Crown 18U Nationals. Finishing 3rd place with a record of 7-1 they made adjustments when needed and further solidified their place among the top 18U teams in the country.

Mustangs Rene went 4-0 undefeated in Pool Play. It was a week filled with hot bats and stellar pitching finishing 15th with a final record of 7-2.

Summer season opener in Newberry, FL was filled with teams from all over the country. Mustangs Rene finished 5th with a 6-3 record. All 3 losses were by a single run. Great warm-up with great competition.

Tampa Mustangs Rene had an amazing run at Triple Crown 16U Colorado Power Pool. In a field of 143 of the nations best 16U teams, Mustangs Rene made a run with their explosive offensive, solid pitching and strong defense to finish runner up.

Tampa Mustangs Rene was recently featured in Extra Innings. The team won the SEFL Championship and was awarded a berth to the Alliance Championship next summer.

Good showing this weekend at the Florida Sun Coast Elite Invitational finishing 5-1-1.Winning our pool and finishing runner-up allowed us to punch our ticket to Alliance nationals. Thank you to all of the college coaches that came out to watch us compete.

Mustangs Rene with a Top 4 Bracket finish at Veterans Tribute Invitational

Mustangs Rene put on a show for a herd of college coaches at this years Veterans Tribute in Dalton, Georgia. Being selected to the invitational bracket, they finished first in their pool with a 3-0-1 record. Moving into bracket with below 40 temperatures, they continued to fight defensively and offensively with stellar pitching. In bracket play they finished 3-1 with a heartbreaking 7th inning 0-1 loss. Overall they advanced to the Top 4 of the Al Bishop bracket with a record of 6-1-1 after playing 50 innings over 8 games. Excellent competitive format with tremendous exposure.

Scenic City Top 25

Mustangs Rene finished Scenic City Top 25 with a 3-2 record. Frigid temps didn't stop this team from winning games against top teams from Carolina, Texas and Louisville.

Playing up in the 18u division at the Inaugural Ray Seymour Invitational, this solid group of '23 and '24 grad years took the top spot finishing 4-0-1. This talented group faced some of the top 18u teams in the country to the likes of Virginia Unity, Iowa Premier, Wichita Mustangs, LLG & Impact. Proving successful against some top D1 committed pitchers this team has a bright fall ahead. Thank you to the many college coaches who attended to watch our team compete.

Tampa Mustangs Rene was selected to represent womens fastpitch in the Under Armour brand for their new fall advertising campaign. The red carpet was rolled out as players were outfitted head to toe in Under Armour wear. Mustangs Rene players were the first to try out the all new Under Armour Glyde fastpitch cleats. UCF Hosts Mustangs Rene

Sunday September 26th Tampa Mustangs Rene attended a team camp at the University of Central Florida. We competed and won 2 scrimmage games against Lady Dukes and Dirt Divas. We were able to have a Q & A session with current UCF players, tour of the athletic facilities and get some great tips and drills from the UCF coaching staff. It was an exciting look into UCF softball, and we thank Coach Bear, her staff and players for hosting us.

Mustangs Rene gives back to young players!

On Saturday Sept. 18th, Coach Rene along with 8 players hosted a free community softball clinic for girls ages 8-13 at Tampa Bay Little League in Tampa, FL. The morning was filled with lots of smiles and instruction from players Lauren Luciani, Gracie Ciccarello, Ella Dodge, Riley Onisawa, Olivia Ryan, Isabella Vega, Maria Brooks & Kaia Cortes. Everything from hitting, fielding, throwing and baserunning was covered. It was a great way for our team to give back to the community and share our love for the game.
